Heywood pool will remain closed until at least Xmas.

We’ve managed to hire out the pool at Middleton Arena for the next couple of weeks (and hopefully for as long as the pool is shut at Heywood).
We can only have Middleton Pool for the sessions at 17:00 and 17:30.
Therefore, the plan is as follows:
If you currently swim at Heywood on a Sunday at 16:00 - 17:00, you can attend either the Tuesday evening or Wednesday evening session at Rochdale (19:00 - 20:00). Please let us know if you would like to attend one of these sessions.
If you currently swim at Heywood on a Sunday at either 17:00 - 17:30 or 17:30 - 18:00, your lesson will be at the same time but at Middleton Arena until further notice. The address for Middleton Arena is:
LCpl Joel Halliwell VC Way

The Club

Established in 1868 we are one of the longest running clubs in Great Britain.

Our club is run entirely by volunteers who work tirelessly to ensure the continued success of the club.

We welcome participants and encourage healthy lifestyles, provide advice and direction to help our members stay in sport and maintain a lifelong love of swimming and sport.

We encourage our older swimmers to pass on their skills in the pool to up and coming youngsters by becoming helpers and then progressing to a level 1 ASA teaching badge.  Our level 2 coaches are the backbone of our programme, they develop the teaching strategy and lesson plans, ensure teaching is to the highest standards and mentor our level 1's and assistants.

If you would like your child to come in for a free, no obligation, taster session then please contact the President: Edith Ford 01706 372246

Mums, Dads and Carers

We have strict policies and guidelines on child safeguarding which can be viewed on request.

All the coaches and teachers are volunteers, with each being ASA registered, and anyone who will interact with your child has been CRB checked and attends mandatory Child Safeguarding courses.
